How could I have forgotten!?

The girls on Mother's Day

SO... my 24th Birthday was on Saturday May 7th! Chris and I (is that better Ashley) had a nice peaceful relaxing few hours together. My Mom came and picked up Logan and my Dad took him golfing! The pics are adorable! We went to the mall and I got a new outfit for the summer with my birthday money from parents and then we drove to Virginia Beach for some Cheesecake Factory. I must say their Thai Lettuce Wraps are amazing and their Godiva Cheesecake is HEAVENLY. In fact I hope when we are in heaven we still get hungry... because I LOVE FOOD! LOL! Sunday we celebrated Valerie (my sister) and mine's birthday's with cake cutting and also had our Mother's Day Feast prepared by the men. I couldn't ask for more! The day was great, and pretty relaxing. We ALL got in the hot tub and the end of the evening for some relaxing (and a little splish splashing) fun. The kids love it. They call it the HOT POOL. Well let me sum up this post with a tribute to my Mother who I love more than anything. She is the GREATEST Mom and Nana!!! Love You Mom!

Pink, Princess' and High Heels... wait... I have a BOY!

A walk on the beach with the babes.

All 10 of the cousins sitting together. Once upon a time these stairs only held 5 children. My how we've multiplied!

Tali and Logan taking a dip in the sink after some fun in the hot pool!

Logan with his Conductor's Hat on that the Train Conductor at Busch Garden's gave him!

So Logan's fascination with high heels, pink things (of his cousins) and her pink princess bathing suit with a built in tu-tu is slowly getting in my head! This is totally normal right? I mean... he doesn't know any better yet!? He's always slipping his feet into any high heels he sees. As I sit he he's trying to work his way into his cousins pink princess bathing suit. I try not to overreact about it... but really when should I put my foot down about this? Don't get me wrong... he LOVES boy things too. Like climbing, constantly injuring himself, trains, trucks, cars, golf clubs etc. I just dont' know!

April Pics

April Showers Bring May Flowers

SO... April is only halfway through and it's been a busy one. I kept 8 of the 10 neices and nephews last week during Spring Break. Overall it went really well. At times they tried my patience. I now know that I can handle 9 kids at once... but that I NEVER want to actually do it! I'm just fine with my one... for a VERY long time :) We went to the Animal Farm, The Park, We played with bubbles and had a few really pretty days. On Friday me and the twin girls went to the Circus. I'm almost 24 and it was my first circus ever. It was the combination of the Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey. It was great. I had to pick my jaw up off the floor a few times. I'm really glad we got to go and the girls loved it. Logan unfortunatley we left behind. I gave in and was going to bring him, but he misbehaved so badly during lunch that I took him to my sisters house (Thanks Valerie!) And I'm glad I did. He'll be 21mths tomorrow and he's already acting terribly 2! My sweet baby boy only makes short appearances every now and then. I guess the biggest most recent change would be his haircut. I cut his hair two days ago. Several people are very mad at me for it, but I couldn't handle the mess. I was sick of the "Is that a boy or a girl!?" Comments... although I'm sure those IDIOTS will STILL be asking that! But not to worry this is his third haircut, and the curls will quickly return. He looks like such a big boy now. I can't get over it!

Blog.... finally!

So this is my first blog... ever. I made this page quite a while ago and am just now getting around to it. Hopefully my consistency won't be that bad! So this page will pretty much consist of whatever is going on in life... for better or worse. And to be completely honest I'm sure it will typically result in my babbling on about Logan and how cute and amazing he is or how crazy he's making me! Well me and Chris just had our 4 year anniversary this month, which was pretty unreal. It's crazy that it's been 4 YEARS already!!! Logan turned 20 months this month and is reaching new milestones everyday. He's been talking alot and it pretty much breaks me and Chris' heart when he cries "Pease, Pease, Pease!" when we both know he can't have what he's asking for. He's been saying quite a bit and we usually know what he's saying. If we don't we just pretend we do. He has used his potty for the past 3 days sparatically and we have been ecstatic about that. Unfortunalely he peed on the couch today... YIKES (for those of you who plan to visit... no worries we cleaning it thoroughly :) Me and Logan traveled quite a bit this month. We spent 4 days in Charleston, SC visiting my friend Ashley and her hubby and cute little baby Gavin. Logan rode on the train for the first time and did really well. He loved Baby Gavin and their Yorkie Jackson. We came home and left again that week on a 10hr drive to Kentucky to visit my Bro and Sis In Law and Chris' side of the family. We had a good time. Logan was SO well behaved on the long drive both there and home. He had a blast playing with his cousin Kameron who is only 4 months older than him. We don't have any other travel plan for a while. Me and Chris are trying to work on taking a cruise. We never took a honeymoon and would LOVE to finally take one. The only catch is Logan. He's def not coming with. So we may have to bribe someone to keep him. I don't know if Logan or I will survive a week apart. As much as we'd love a couples vacation it's gonna be emotionally hard. Chris is doing well. He's still working away and we're lucky to still be in our house and not have ever been given orders. We're not sure how much longer this lucky streak will last, but we're hoping to keep flying under the radar as far as that goes. I stay busy with Logan and church duties. I am SO excited for the weather to warm up! I am def a summer girl! Hopefully we'll be getting Busch Gardens and Watercountry passes. We didn't get passes last year b/c Logan was too small and we weren't really going to enjoy it, but this year I think he'll love it. Well that's my inital post. A summary of March. Now we have that out of the way... I guess we'll all see what's to come :)
